CELEBRATING A MILESTONE!

Tiny WPA celebrates 10 years of transforming spaces, strengthening communities, and empowering the next generation of community designers, builders, and leaders.

Over the past decade, our impact has grown through the dedication of our participants, partners, and supporters — and the results speak for themselves:

• 130+ Philadelphians, ages 14 to 70, have graduated from our free, eight-week Building Hero Training Program.

• 125+ high school students have participated in our out-of-school, hands-on design-build program every Wednesday.

• 200+ public space projects have been created with communities across the city, revitalizing public pools, recreation centers, parks, trails, schools, and more.

• 98 paid team members–including 37 high school students and 19 Building Heroes–have gained valuable, real-world design-build experience.

• Each year, we collaborate with 40–60 community partners in our efforts to make Philadelphia a more vibrant, safe, and equitable place to live, work, and play.
