Join us on Wednesday, December 16th, from 5 PM – 7 PM at our workshop (3145 W. Jefferson St.) for our annual holiday cookie exchange—now with a competitive twist!

How It Works:

Bring your baked goods to the workshop, label your entry, and vote for your top picks. We'll be naming winners across 5 fun categories:

  • Crowd Pleaser (Best Overall Taste)

  • Best Presentation

  • Best Name

  • Over the Top (Most Extravagant & Maximalist Creation)

  • Best Vegan or Gluten-Free Creation

Snacks, drinks, and prizes provided! Don't forget to bring Tupperware/containers to take home a sweet selection.

FAQs:

  • Please bring at least two dozen cookies to share (knives will be provided on-site if you'd like to cut larger treats into smaller sampling pieces).

    Don’t forget to bring a Tupperware container so you can take home a sweet selection of everyone else’s treats at the end of the exchange!

  • To participate in the competition, cookies must be homemade!

    That said, if you encounter a baking mishap or run out of time to bake, please don't let that stop you from coming. You're still welcome to join in on the fun—just bring two dozen cookies from a local bakery (or grab a box of peppermint Joe-Joe's!) to share with the group.

  • There’s no obligation to stay for the full two hours! Feel free to drop in whenever it fits your schedule to sample cookies, submit your entry, and vote.

  • Festive casual or workshop-friendly! Holiday attire and ugly sweaters are strongly encouraged, but not required—wear whatever makes you feel festive and comfortable!

  • When you arrive: We'll ask you to label your cookie entry with a creative title to keep voting anonymous.

    How voting works: We'll provide a ranked-choice Google Form on-site so every participant can sample the spread and vote for their top picks across our 5 competition categories.

    Winners and prizes will be announced before 7:00 PM!
